Moon Jellyfish (Aurelia aurita) are the most common and most popular of all jellyfish. These white/clear jellyfish have large flat bells with four clover shape rings in the middle. They easily eat jellyfish food, newly hatched baby brine shrimp and frozen baby brine shrimp and should be fed daily.

Moon Jellyfish have some of the longest lifespans out of the species we sell. If taken care of properly, these can live for over a year.  We sell younger moon jellyfish so you can enjoy them longer. When buying from the local fish store, you do not know what age the jellyfish are and you could be buying older jellies that are shrinking at the end of their life cycle.  

Wild Moon Jellyfish live throughout the world's oceans. Some live in cold water and others in temperate waters.  Our moon jellyfish are grown in a temperate climate so no chiller is needed.

Moon Jellyfish have a high tolerance to a wide range of temperature and salinity. However, they should not be kept in temperatures higher than 78°F.
